Pictured here are examples of some of the primitive log cabins created in The Barnyard Shoppe of Amos D. Bugg. They stand approximately 10 to 12 inches tall. They’re chinked with real mortar and the small cabins (and the tobacco barn) are roofed with a rusty vintage tin shingle salvaged from the demolition of the Browns Summit Train Depot. Some even come equipped with a pile of split oak firewood and a hand carved ax.
In addition to these “generic” models, I also custom
build log cabins for collectors who have a special design in mind. Check
out some of my favorite special projects
for a good example.
